This technical laboratory course focuses on apparel from the perspectives of personal decision making related to apparel, the apparel industry, and career preparation. Topics include managing the apparel dollar, apparel repair and alteration, and wardrobe planning, care and maintenance. Quality apparel consturction is addressed as it relates to consumer decision making and career preparation for the apparel industry. Other content addresses career otpions and management practices for assuming multiple family, community, and career roles.

Be on task at all times!!
When students are assigned projects, they should be working on the project without wasting time.
If a student needs assistance that another student can give, be willing to help.
We will have group projects and at those times, each student is expected to contribute a fair share of work.
Excessive "visiting" in class will not be allowed. Talking related to project work is okay.
Weekly evaluations of work done will be required. Failure to turn in an evaluation will result in a low project grade.
