Family Career Community Leaders of America is the student led organization for Family and Consumer Science studnents. FCCLA offers students opportunities to initiate and participate in community service projects and to receive recognition for those projects each year on regional, state and national levels each year.

Each year St. Jude's Children's Hospital, a treatment center for children with cancer, in cooperation with Hancock's Fabric Stores nationwide, conducts a quilt making contest. According to contest rules, quilts must incorporate a particular number of fabrics from the current year's fabric collection. This is the quilt made by Ms. Nobles' Apparel class during the Spring 2005 semester.
