Expectations for Behavior:
Students have one rule for behavior: "Be excellent to each other." This one little statement covers every aspect of living in a way that encourages dignity, compassion, confidence, cooperation, leadership, creativity, and learning. This is one rule that I insist to be followed.
Classroom Precedures:
Students will be on time.
Students will remain in class the entire period. High school students are expected to take care of business before or after school, during lunch or during the passing periods! (If a student has a medical situation that makes this difficult, please let me know.)
Students will come to class with books, assignments, pens, notebooks, etc.
Students will turn in assignments on time.
Cell phone use is absolutely forbidden during class---no exceptions! If a parent needs to contact his/her child, he/she needs to call the CHS office, 728-3424, and a staff member will get that student to an office phone.
