Your student will have homework assignments most days. Please ask them how their math class is going and if they did their homework. I'm always available for help in the mornings during tutorials, and most days after school.

Classroom Expectations
Students will be on time to class. This means in the room when the bell rings. After the second tardy, students will be required to have lunch detention on the following day.
Students should be prepared for class. Have all materials needed for class.
Students are not allowed to leave class once the tardy bell has rung.
Students are responsible for all make–up work.
Students are encouraged to use tutorial times to ask questions and get extra help.
Students will be courteous and respectful to all people in the classroom. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. There should no talking while the teacher (or substitute) is lecturing or a student is asking a question.
Students will keep books covered. A book check will be done at the end of each six weeks for damaged or missing books.
Students will treat substitutes with respect. There will be times throughout the year when a substitute will be in charge of the class. I request that you follow the same procedures and rules as when I am in the classroom.
Homework
Please do the following on each of your homework papers.
1. Show work needed to complete the problem and then circle or box your answer.
2. Work problems DOWN the page.
3. Write your name, date, page # and assignment on top of all pages.
4. Use pencil only.
5. Copied assignments will result in zero for the assignment.
All homework is due the next day unless you are told otherwise. The work is due at the beginning of the class period. If you do not have your homework – no credit. There are no exceptions.
If you are absent, one class period is given for each day absent to turn in make-up work. It is the student’s responsibility to ask for the make–up work and get it turned in on time.
