Students need to decide if they are going to join VICA. Students need to decide what kind of project that they wamt and get started on the project as soon as possible. The Skills USA VICA district contest will be held sometimes in April, usually at Midland College. Students that win at district will advance to the state contest held in Fort Worth. Forms are available for students to fill out in the auto tech shop. Students are encouraged to start their projects as soon as possible.

Students are encouraged to bring a project to work on in the shop. The projects can be large or small. They can be left overnight or taken home daily if they are capable of being moved. Projects will be locked in the shop at night.
