I grew up in Breckenridge, TX and graduated from Breckenridge High School in 1986. I attended Abilene Christian University and graduated in December, 1990 with a Bachelors in Music Education degree. I began my teaching career at Franklin Middle School in January, 1991. I taught there for 6 years. I took my first high school job at Jim Ned in Tuscola. I taught there for 5 years. I taught at Ballinger High School for 3 years before coming to Colorado City in the fall of 2004. I am beginning my 6th year in C-City.
I have been married for just over six wonderful years. My wife's name is Karen, and this is her 4th year teaching 4th grade at Hutchinson this year. I have 2 boys. Landon is 15, and he has moved to Colorado City to live with us. He is in 10th grade this year, playing percussion in the HS Band and alto sax in the Jazz Band. Lance is 14, and he is coming to live with us. He is in 9th grade this year and plays the trumpet. Both boys have played soccer and basketball for the past few years. Lance plans to play football this year. I am very proud of my whole family, as well as my extended family here at Colorado High School.
I am especially excited that Landon and Lance have come to live with us. |
