My husband, Patrick, and I both love animals. We have two Chocolate Labs, oodles of outside cats, chickens, and goats. We love to sit out in the backyard and watch our animals in the evening.

Patrick and I come from families of teachers. All of our parents were teachers. I also have a brother who is an administrator. So . . as you can tell, the field of education has been imprinted in our brains from day one. We also have a daughter who is a dental hygenist. She is the light of our lives. Reading magazines is my favorite thing to do while my husband could almost live outdoors. Life is good to us!
