Hello. I am Gail Evans the 6th grade Science teacher. Our class covers the TEKS through a variety of activities; the lab is one of the favorite places in our room to work. Practice in reading, writing, math, even some history and geography help make a well-rounded student of science ready for their future classes and the eighth grade TAKS Science Test. I also do some practice listening skills activities to help choose the team I will coach for the UIL event. This year I also coach UIL Social Studies (6th).

This is a S.T.A.R. class which is one of 6 classes that sixth graders rotate through. It is part of a community service grant also. The students help keep campus clean through litter pick up and beautification projects. We recycle paper, plastic, and aluminum. The paper is collected on campus, and the aluminum and plastic comes from some community participants as well as our campus.
