Hutchinson Elementary School, "Where Everyone Counts," is located in Colorado City, Texas. Our community is warm and friendly as only West Texas can be, and our students are terrific.

Our website contains lots of information, but I'd like to take a moment to lead you through it. From this page, you can look at the red tool bar at the top of the page and select "Administration" if you want to go to my site, or "Teacher Pages," if you want to see a specific teacher's page.

On the Administration page and this Home page, you can click on "About Us" on the links to the left, which will lead you to all of our Hutchinson information, as well as policies and procedures. The CISD Student Code of Conduct and Hutchinson Handbook may be accessed through this site.

Also on the left toolbar, you can access our 80th Birthday power point presentation, given by our students on March 23, 2003, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the building of Hutchinson Elementary School. The power point contains important historical data, pictures, and above all, lists of multi-generation families who have attended Hutchinson Elementary.

To complete the links at the left, you can access the current year calendar of events to take a look at our busy lives in elementary-land.

When you are ready to look at the teachers' sites, just click on "Teacher Web Pages," then click on a grade level, then choose either a curriculum area, like "Reading and Spelling," or a specific teacher's name. Because our grade levels team for planning, you can access homework for any teacher on the grade level curriculum page. The staff will be entering lots of homework pages and hints for you during the year, so be sure and check 'em out! On the individual teacher's pages, you can check out teacher bios, classroom rules, and hints for parents.

If you have a moment while you're on the Teacher Web Pages, click on Hutchinson Highlights, then Hutchinson Happenings, then Search. This is my favorite site, because we have loads of pictures from all our events that celebrate kids, teachers, and learning. Be sure to take a look!
