Together we are starting to take our likes and dislikes and find jobs that will fit us best. If we have an interest in our jobs we will be happy. In the middle of the semester we will then move onto a cooking unit. We will attempt to learn how to cook meals on our own that will help us when we go into the world on our own.
(KWOLF NEWS) We will report on Humanitarian stoies, weather sports and school news. Not only will we cover these stories we will also cover local stories from around town. KWLF we air every Wednesday at 1:15 on channel 6.

We are up to any challenges in the classroom. One challenge is getting ready to cross the curriculum. We will use our job searching skills and put them into effect by showing how our projects will come together. Ex. Film Directors, Paralegal assistants, Editors.... We will realize that all jobs use every subject in school. Ex. English, math, and reading....
By using hands on techniques the students will have a rememberable time while crossing the Great Divide of the curriculum

In Coach Sowa's Career Investigations we are "Taking the Future One Star at a Time". Students are participating in a Prevention Education Program that consists of classroom sessions that talk with the students about topics such as their Ideal Futures and what you have to do to reach the future that you want! Can you have a bad reputation? Can you make bad judgements? Can you be a drug or alcohol user? Can you be a bad citizen? The answers to these are found by the kids through group assignments and by making commitments to themselves on the sort of life they want.
