Hello and thank you for visiting the website for Colorado ISD! I am beginning my 7th year here as Superintendent and 32nd in public education. I started my career in education as a classroom teacher and coach. I remained in that role for 10 years before accepting an administrative job as an elementary principal. I enjoyed those 4 years immensely before I took another step. I accepted a job as a high school principal and stayed in that position for another 4 years. I was then offered a job as Superintendent of Schools and I accepted. That was the first of my 13 years as a Superintendent. Each step of my career has been filled with one incredible experience after another.

I am very proud of our school district here in Colorado City.
We have great kids, a fantastic faculty and staff, incredible principals, and the most supportive and student-oriented school board with which I have ever had the pleasure of working.

We have opportunities for every single kid to become involved in any number of extracurricular and co-curricular activities. Our staff goes above and beyond the call of duty in providing for experiences for all of our kids that go far beyond that of normal classroom instruction.

My wife teaches for us as does my oldest son. I have 4 other kids in my household who are students in our schools. Not a day goes by that I don't thank the Good Lord for the opportunity for my whole family to be together in such a caring and friendly district.
