Your child should be writing his/her daily assignments on his/her assignment sheet each day. It is each child's responsibility to make sure he/she has completed his/her assignments for the day. IF an assignment is not finished by the end of the day, it is to be completed at home for homework and returned the next morning.

Your child should also be doing some reading at home EVERY day (weekends too!). His/her AR goal is based on 30 minutes of reading daily, some of which is expected to be completed at home.

PRACTICE SPELLING! Remember, we don't spend time in class with the practice of how to spell the words. We work on their meanings in class.

There will also occasionally be other assignments that are expected to be completed at home.
