High School Math and Physics

Teaching Experience
This will be my first year at Colorado City, but I have close to twenty years of combined teaching experience in physics and mathematics at the two year college level, middle school, and high school. That combination of experience should allow me to make the transition to Colorado City without too many bumps in the road.

I have already heard about a few students who are scared to have a former college teacher. RELAX, I taught remedial mathematics at college and taught physics to students ranging from automotive technicians to computer software engineers, and even a few secretarial students. Last year I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade mathematics. If you are willing to TRY, I will do my best to help you. The good thing about having an experienced teacher is they have a whole bag full of tricks and alternative teaching methods to help students of varied backgrounds.
Graduate Studies
I have a Master of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma. During my time at OU I was a graduate teaching assistant and the majority of my graduate coursework was in physics and astronomy.
Undergraduate Studies
I have a Bachelor of Science from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with majors in both physics and mathematics. I attended SOSU on a full academic scholarship and was a laboratory assistant my junior and senior years.
