The Texas Department of Health gives immunizations the first Wednesday of each month from 10:00 - 12:00 and 1:30 - 3:00 at Wallace Accelerated HS in Colorado City.

Snyder Health Department located at 911 East 26th Street gives immunizations every Tuesday from 8:30 – 11:00 and 1:30 – 4:00 and every Thursday from 8:30 – 11:00 with NO AFTERNOON CLINICS. 1-325-573-3508 FAX# is 1-325-573-0380.

Immunization Requirements for Students
DPT: All kindergarteners must have at least 4 doses. One dose must be given after the 4th birthday. Td booster due 10 years after the date of the last shot.
POLIO: All kindergarteners must have 3 doses. One dose must be given after the 4th birthday. Another dose is required when there is not one after the 4th birthday.
MMR: All kindergarteners are required to have 2 doses. One dose must be given on or after the first birthday. The second dose must be given before kindergarten and at least 4 weeks from the first dose.
Hepatitis B: All kindergarteners are required to have 3 doses.
Chickenpox: All kindergarteners are required to have one dose of vaccine or proof that they have had the disease. This verification must state the month and year the child had the chickpox and must be signed and dated by the parent or guardian.
Note: Children in Pre-Head Start, Head Start or Pre-Kindergarten are required to have Hepatitis A and Pnuemococcal vaccinations. Students K-12 are not required to have these vaccinations.
