Welcome to Mrs. Lemons' 1st grade class of bees! I am so excited to have the opportunity to get to know your child as they learn and grow!

Please be familiar with the rules that your child is expected to follow.
1. Respect everyone
2. Respect everything
3. Follow directions
4. Do your best work

Your child should be familiar with our "behavior beehive." If your child has a great day (behavior wise) they will stay off of the beehive.
One warning: Your child's bee will be placed on the yellow level of the beehive. This means that 5 minutes of time-out will occur during recess.
Two warnings: Your child's bee will be placed on the red level of the beehive. This means that a note will be sent home plus time-out at recess.
Three warnings: Your child's bee will be placed on the blue level of the beehive. This means that parents will be called in addition to time-out at recess.
Four warnings: Your child's bee has exceeded the levels on the beehive and a visit to Mrs. Farmer's office will be made.

A little about me... I have been married for four years and have a two-year-old daughter who is the love of my life. My husband is the baseball coach and teaches geography at the middle school. This is our first year at Colorado City and we are really enjoying becoming part of the community!
