Welcome to a new school year;

This is just a note to give you some information about the class your student is in.
First of all, please feel free to contact me with any question about grades or an assignment. The Senior year is a very busy year and there are many responsibilities. Any help in the classroom or with fundraisers will be greatly appreciated. The school telephone number is 325-728-3424; my e-mail address at the school is ppartin@ccity.esc14.net; and my conference time is 8:10-8:58 and 10:50-11:38.
I am certified to teach in several areas (English, A/P English, History, Technology and Gifted and Talented); therefore, I am teaching several diversified classes this year. This year I am assigned to English IV, Dual Credit English IV, Webmastering and Gifted and Talented.
My grading system will be consistent in all classes. Homework/guided practice counts 40%, tests count 50% and daily work counts 10%.
I follow the District Code of Conduct as outlined in the hand-book. {1. verbal warning, 2.morning detention, 3.parent contact 4. referral to office.}
I look forward to the coming school year and exploring new avenues with the students!
