In my class I do not allow students to randomly access undesirable internet sites. Most of these sites are blocked by the school filter. Students are not allowed to check e-mail, use any chat rooms, use my space or any other personal information sites that might jeopardize their safety. I guide students in the use of the internet allowing only educational sites or informational sites to research information to be used in an assignment. Students will be taught the fair use and copyright laws along with the do's and don'ts of the internet.
